instrumental role played by educational
institutions in creating a skilled and

human development. This is why at al
khaliji, we are looking forward to work
closely with Carnegie Mellon University in
Qatar and share our professional expertise
in a goal-driven and productive context that
not only leads to raising the bar of
performance and the standards of service at
al khaliji to continuously exceed clients’
expectations, but also invite CMU-Q students
to gain invaluable skills as al khaliji
interns and trainees, as well as
volunteering in the Bank’s Community events

community in which it operates.”
Ilker Baybars, Dean and CEO of
CMU-Q, said:
“Partnerships between education and industry
are essential to building a knowledge-based
economy, and I thank al khaliji for their

the opportunity to cement their practical
skills, while introducing hard-working,
talented young professionals to al

expertise, scientists and researchers in
Business Administration and Information
Systems, as well as organizing joint
specialized conferences, seminars and
