Zad Holding's Profit Increases by 4.5% to QR 167.6 Million

Zad Holding's net profit  is QR 167,6 million compared to QR 160,3 million for the same period of the previous year. Earnings per Share (EPS) amounted to QR 7.78 compared to QR 7.44 for the same period of the previous year. The BOD recommended distribution of 45% dividend.

The Group's Comment

Zad Holding's operational income increased by 26.3% to QR 323.6 million in 2016, including QR 98.4 million government subsidy. Adding other sources of income worth QR24.7 million, deducting public and administrative expenses worth QR135.4 million, net profit increased by 4.5% to QR167.6 million. The company incurred limited losses as result of negative change in the fair value, which drove the comprehensive income down to QR 165.6 million.
