to QR 9.57 Million

Qatar Oman investment Co. net profit for the first quarter 2017 stood at
QR 9.58 million compared to QR 11.78 million in the
corresponding period last year. Earnings per share reached QR
0.304 versus QR 0.374 in the corresponding period in 2016.
The Group Securities Comment:
Qatar Oman investment Co net income for the first quarter fell 16% to
QR10.93 million, and expenses stood at QR1.35mn, unchanged. As a
result, net profit decreased by 18.7% to QR 9.58 million.
However, there was a gain on sale of assets at fair value and
the total income increased to QR 10.21 million compared to QR
3.6 million in the corresponding period last year.
