Mannai Corporation Discloses Its Financial Statements for Three-Month Period Ended March 31, 2017

Mannai Corporation disclosed the interim financial statements for the three months’ period ended March 31, 2017. The financial statements revealed a net profit of QR 90.1 million in comparison to net profit of QR 125.1 million for the same period of the previous year. 

The Earnings Per Share (EPS) amounted to QR 1.97 as of March 31, 2017 versus EPS QR 2.74 of the same period in 2016.

The Group's Comment

Mannai Corporation's profit from its core business dropped by 7.4% to QR 288.2 million. Total expenses fell by 5.1% to QR 218.7 million. Adding other sources of income, shares from colleague companies, net profit drops by 28.1% compared to the same period last year, to 90.1 million.
