“Q-Chem” and “Q-Chem Ii” Ink Agreements With Qatar Petroleum For Additional Supply Of Ethane

Mesaieed Petrochemical Holding Company a subsidiary of Qatar Petroleum floated on Qatar Exchange, and one of the region’s premier diversified petrochemical conglomerates with interests in the production of olefins, polyolefins, alpha olefins and chlor-alkali products, has announced that Qatar Chemical Company LTD (Q-Chem) and Qatar Chemical Company II LTD (Q-Chem II), two subsidiaries of MPHC, have signed agreements with Qatar Petroleum to provide the two companies with additional amounts of ethane gas in order to improve the combined production capacities of Q-Chem plants, enhancing the financial and operational performance of the two companies.
