Qatar Foreign Merchandise Trade Surplus Reach QR 12.5 billion in June 2017

The State of Qatar foreign merchandise trade surplus, which represents the difference between total exports and imports during the month of June 2017, recorded a surplus of QR 12.5 billion, making an increase of QR 4.9 billion or 63.6% compared to the trade figures in the corresponding month in 2016. Also this figure represents an increase of QR 1.7 billion i.e. 15.3 % above the figures recorded in May 2017.

These figures were stated in the Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics monthly report. The data include exports (of domestic origin and re-exports) in addition to imports.
