Widam Food Net Profit in Q3, 2017 Rose 19% to QR 80.1 Million

Wadam Food Company net profit in the third quarter 2017 rose to QR 80.1 Million, an increase of 19% compared to a net profit of QR 67.2 Million in the corresponding period last year.

Earnings per share reached QR 4.45 versus QR 3.73 in the corresponding period last year.
 
The Group Securities Comment:

Wadam Food Company revenues in the last nine months increased to QR 373.6 Million and the operating cost increased to QR 586.9 Million. Total operating loss increased by 29.2% to QR 213.2 Million. Government subsidence rose by 22% to QR 323.8 Million. On the other hand, expenses rose 2.5% to QR 37.3 Million, while other income doubled to QR 6.9 Million. Net profit for the period increased by 19.2% to QR 80.1 Million.
