Oil Rises More Than 2% to Three-Week High, Brent Crude at US $67.42 a Barrel

Oil prices rose more than 2% to a three-week high on Tuesday, amid tensions in the Middle East and the possibility of further declines in Venezuela's output, which helped to limit the impact of growing US crude production.

Brent crude closed at an increase of US $1.37, or 2.07%, to US $67.42 a barrel, after rising to US $67.88, the highest level since late February.

US rude recorded a hike of US $1.34, or 2.2%, to close at US $63.40 a barrel.
