Commercial Bank: National Bank of Oman
Discloses Discussions on Possible Merger with Bank Dhofar

The Commercial Bank of Qatar holds a stake of
34.9% in National Bank of Oman. The Board of Directors of
National Bank of Oman in its meeting held on July 29th 2018
resolved to commence discussions with Bank Dhofar to explore the
possibility of a merger between the two entities – subject to
obtaining final approvals from the respective Boards,
shareholders, stakeholders and regulators.
