ZAD Holding Net Profit Stands at QR114.7
Million in First Half of 2018

Zad Holding’s net profit amounted to QR114.75
million, compared to QR114.70 for the same period last year,
while its earnings per share reached QR4.84, versus QR4.84 for
the corresponding period of 2017.
The Group’s Comments:
Zad’s total revenues increased by 6.7% to
QR608.5 million in the first half of 2018, of which QR53.6
million government compensation to support the price of flour.
Operating costs increased by 11.5% to QR467 million, and the
total profit dropped by 6.4% to QR141.4 million. Other income
rose by 39.7% to QR51.4 million, total expenses climbed by 3% to
70.5 million, and financing costs went up to QR6.1 million. As a
result, the net profit stabilized at QR114.8 million.
