QATALUM a Subsidiary of QAMCO Appoints Tom
Petter Johansen New CEO Effective 1/1/2019

Qatar Aluminum Manufacturing Company (QAMCO)
announced that its subsidiary, Qatar Aluminium (Qatalum), a
fully integrated primary aluminum producer in Qatar, has
appointed Mr. Tom Petter Johansen as its new Chief Executive
Officer with effect from 1 January 2019.
Mr. Johansen has a broad and extensive
experience in the aluminum industry that spans over more than 30
years. He started his career in 1985 with Hydro, where he
progressed to hold top management positions, the last of which
was a plant manager at Karmøy, Norway. He has served as the CEO
of Qatalum from 2011 to 2016, and as member of Qatalum’s Board
of Directors since August 2018.
