Qatar Fuel (Woqod) Net Profit Up 20% to QR
1160 Million in 2018

Qatar Fuel (Woqod) disclosed its
financial statements for the period ended on 31/12/2018. The
statements show a net profit of QR 1,160 million, an increase of
20% compared to QR 964 million for the same period of the
previous year.
Woqod’s earnings per share amounted
to QR 11.7 for the period ended 31 December 2018, versus QR 9.7
for the corresponding period of 2017.
The Board of Directors issued a
recommendation, included in the agenda for the Annual General
Assembly meeting that will be convened on the 25th of
March 2019, to distribute QR 795 million in cash dividends,
which stands for 80% of the nominal paid up capital, i.e. QR 8
per share.
