Governor of Qatar Central Bank Issues Decree No. (4) 2019 Appointing Temporary Board and CEO of Al Khaleej Takaful Insurance

Qatar Exchange has announced the decision of the Governor of Qatar Central Bank No. (4) for the year 2019 to appoint a temporary Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Al Khaleej Takaful Insurance Company (QSC). The decision included the following:

Appointment of a temporary Board of Directors of Al Khaleej Takaful Insurance Company, from the shareholders of the company, for a tenure of one year, renewable, as follows:

(1)   Sheikh Abdullah Bin Ahmed Al Thani, Chairman

(2)   Sheikh / Fahad bin Mohammed Jabr Al-Thani, Deputy-Chairman

(3)   Mr. Abdullah Ali Mohammed Ali Al Ansari, Member

(4)   Mr. Khalid Abdul Aziz Ahmed Al Baker, Member

And the appointment of Mr. Ali Reza Al Bannai as CEO of AL Khaleej Takaful Insurance. The Interim Board of Directors shall determine its functions, powers and financial allocations.

The resolution, supersedes any prior resolutions, and stipulates that all concerned bodies must implement it as of the date of issuance.
