In a study conducted by The Group Securities to measure the return
and current value of investment in the most prominent companies
listed in Qatar Exchange since 2003 to date (May 6, 2019), The
Group found out that Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) would have yielded
the best return, as an investment of QR 1,000 in the shares of
QIB in 2003, is equal to QR 10,102 today, an average return of
15.5%.
Following QIB is Qatar National Bank (QNB), with a value of QR 7,913
and an average annual return of 13.81%. It should be noted that
the return includes adjusted price changes (taking into account
bonus shares and subscriptions), and cash dividends.

in major listed companies, with the average annual return of
