CEO of QSE and Shanghai Stock Exchange Senior Officials Discuss Cooperation and Investment Opportunities in Qatar in the Shanghai Global Investment Forum

Qatar Stock Exchange delegation led by CEO Mr. Rashid Bin Ali Al Mansoori has visited China to participate in the Shanghai Global Investment Forum, and met with senior officials at Shanghai Stock Exchange ad a lineup of assets and investment portfolios managers.

Mr. Al Mansoori met with the Chairman of Shanghai Stock Exchange Mr. Huang Hongyuan along with senior officials from Shanghai Stock Exchange and discussed matters related to mutual cooperation. The parties agreed to explore and identify mutually beneficial areas of cooperation to potentially sign a MoU in the near future.

During the visit, Mr. Al Mansoori participated in the Shanghai Global Investment Forum held on June 19, where he delivered a speech that briefed asset managers participating in the forum on the most prominent features of the investment environment in Qatar. They were also invited to visit the country to explore available investment opportunities, and open their offices in Qatar.

QSE is actively pursuing a strategy to lure in Asian investments from China, Hong Kong, Singapore and other Asian countries to further diversify its investor base.
