Vodafone Qatar Net Profits Rises by 43.7% to QAR 108.4
Million in the 3rd Quarter 2019

Profits: increased for the first nine months of 2019 to QAR 108.4 million
compared to QAR 75.4 million, an increase of 43.8%. Earnings per
share for the period amounted QAR 0.026 versus QAR 0.018 for the
equivalent period last year 2018. Concerning the 3rd
quarter profits, it amounted QAR 30.3 million versus QAR 26.7
million of the 3rd quarter last year 2018. However,
the company did not register any assessment variations in
comprehensive income statement of the period.

Revenues and profits: Revenues increased by 1.2% to reach QAR 1553.2 million against QAR
1534.8 million. The company was able to notably reduce the
operational costs by QAR 90.4 million especially those linked to
networks and rentals which resulted in the improvement of
profits at this level.

Implementation of Standard 16: The Company, since the beginning of the year, has implemented
Standard 16 related to operational rentals which caused in
increase in the cost of financing by QAR 22.1 million and also
avoiding QAR 62.9 million under “maturity assets depreciation”
