WOQOD Launches Bu AlHumaidh Gas Station & a Mobile
Terminal in Al Thakhira, Total 93 Gas Stations

Part of its strategic plan to expand its network to
cover all regions of the country, WOQOD launched on Thursday, 30
October 2019 its new gas station located in “Bu AlHumaidh area,
Al Majd Road by Hamad Port“, bringing the total number of its
operating gas stations to 93 (fixed and mobile).
Mr. Saad Rashid Al Mohannadi, Company’s CEO and
Managing Director, said “We are delighted to open this gas
station today at Bu AlHumaidh to meet the needs of our valued
customers in this area and the neighboring areas”.
Al Mohannadi confirmed that such a step reflects
WOQOD’s ambitious plans to extend its station network and
facilitates the access to it, besides meeting the increased
demand on the petroleum products in the local market and
guarantee the provision of high-quality products and services to
all customers across the country. He pointed out that WOQOD has
recently accelerated the pace of construction of gas stations to
enhance the Company’s services to customers. Al Muhannadi
further extended WOQOD’s thanks and appreciation to all the
authorities contributed and contribute to the achievement of its
vital projects.
The new gas station” Bu AlHumaidh” is built on an area
of 20,000sqm and operates with 6 fuel pumps distributed on 3
lines along-with 4 diesel pumps distributed on 2 lines.
The station and its associated “Sidra Store” offer 24
hours service to its customers. This is in addition to the
“transparent gas cylinders distribution centers” “Shaffaf” and
providing all kinds of petroleum products for light vehicles and
diesel for trucks.
Al-Mohannadi added that Qatar WOQOD is currently
overseeing the implementation of 19 new gas stations, most of
which will open in 2019.
In conclusion, Al Mohannadi explained that Qatar WOQOD
has a strategic plan aimed at increasing the total number of its
operating stations to 114 fixed and mobile stations by 2020.
Last week, WOQOD launched a new mobile terminal at Al
Thakhira area near the existing Al Thakhira gas station to
service trucks around the clock.
