Oil Prices Rise by Nearly 4%, and Brent Crude Closes at USD 61.69 a Barrel

Oil prices rose nearly by 4% on Friday, supported by signs of progress in US-China trade talks and stronger-than-expected economic data in both countries, including the US jobs and Chinese factories’ activities.

 

Brent crude futures ”International measurements” ended the session up by USD 2.07 (3.5%) to close at USD 61.69 a barrel, however ending the week down by nearly 0.4%.

 

US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures “American measurements” rose by USD 2.02 (3.7%) to settle at USD 56.20 a barrel however, fell by 0.8% over the week.
