WOQOD Inaugurates Al Khor Petrol Station, Bringing its Total Number of Fixed and Mobile Stations to 94

Qatar Fuel Company (Woqod) opened a new station in Al-Khor on Thursday 5/12/2019, and this step brings the total number of its fixed and mobile stations to 94.

 

On this occasion, Mr. Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi, CEO and Managing Director of the company stated, “today we are pleased to open Al Khor Fuel station, to meet the needs of our valued customers in that area and the areas around it,” emphasizing that the opening of this new station would reflect Woqod’s ambitious plans in expanding its network of stations and in facilitating access to them and aims to meet the increasing demand for petroleum products in the local market. It also would show Woqod’s keenness to ensure the provision of high-quality products and services to all customers across the country. Moreover, he pointed out that Woqod has recently accelerated the pace of stations building to enhance customer service, and indicated that Woqod extends its appreciation to all the relevant authorities that have contributed and still contribute in the completion of its vital projects.

 

The area of ​​the Al-khor Station is 15,000 square meters, and it contains 4 lines with 12 fuel filling pumps.

The station provides services to its customers around the clock, including Sidra's shop for daily necessities, manual car wash services, oil change and tire repair, as well as "transparent" gas cylinders distribution centers.  In addition to that, it provides all types of petroleum products for light vehicles.

Al-Muhannadi added that Woqod is currently conducting the supervision of the implementation of 18 new petrol stations, most of which will be completed in the current year 2019.

At the end of his statement, Al Muhannadi stated that Woqod has a strategic plan whose objective is to increase the total number of operating stations to 114 fixed and mobile stations by the end of 2020.
