Qatar Insurance Board Meets on 2 February 2020 to Discuss Financial
Statements
Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) has
announced that the Board of Directors will hold its meeting on 2
February 2020 to discuss the performance and financial statements for
the fiscal year 2019. Additionally, the meeting will discuss the
auditors' report on those statements and the proposals of dividends
distribution that will be submitted to the general assembly to approve
them.
Moreover, during
the period extended from 29 December 2019 -- 12 January 2020, eleven
candidates submitted applications to run for the membership of Board of
Directors for the term (2020-2022). The ordinary general assembly will
conduct this election in its scheduled meeting on Tuesday, 25 February
2020, at 04:30pm in the Grand Hyatt Hotel - Al Sailiya Hall.
Mr. Khalaf Ahmed
Shabib Al-Mannai has also been appointed to the membership of Board of
Directors as a representative of the General Retirement and Social
Insurance Authority (Civil Pension Fund).
