Aamal Announces Redevelopment of City Center Doha Shopping Mall

Aamal Company that we have obtained all necessary approvals to start with phase two of City Center Doha redevelopment. The City Center Doha shopping mall is owned by Aamal Company, and the redevelopment will commence immediately.

This decision comes as part of the Management commitment to keep up with development taking place in this sector and maintain City Center leading market position. The redevelopment aims to enhance the current leasable area in certain sections of the mall, thereby increasing the overall operational efficiency once completed. The redevelopment will not have any effect on the operations of the existing tenants or the mall visitors.

With the additional area we will be able to accommodate the most recent shop and restaurant concepts available to offer customers an exceptional time and shopping experience at City Center.

The estimated cost for the 2nd phase of City Center redevelopment is 300 million Qatari Riyals (three hundred million Qatari Riyals) which will be carried out over three phases, to be fully completed by the end of 2018.
