Oil Price Falls Below $ 17 a Barrel in OPEC Daily Basket

The
Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries ‘OPEC’ said on Thursday
that the price of the oils in its daily basket fell to $ 16.87 a barrel
on 01 April 2020, down from $ 22.61 for the preceding day.
OPEC’s Basket
includes the Algerian desert mixture, Angolan Girasole, Djeno Congolese,
Zafiro from Equatorial Guinea, Rabi Light Rabbi and Iranian heavy crude.
The basket
also includes Basra Light oil, Kuwaiti export crude, Libyan Sidr oil,
Nigerian oil, Saudi Arabian Light crude, UAE Marban and Venezueli Miri.
