Bank Appoints Abdulrahman Totonji Acting CEO

Bank announced that it has appointed Mr. Abdulrahman Totonji as the
Bank’s Acting Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Totonji is considered one of
the well-known competencies in the business and investment community and
is expected to be capable of leading the Bank at this critical stage of
its history as he enjoys extended experience in the management of
investment and real estate institutions and businesses both locally and
globally, knowingly he has managed a domestic and global investment
portfolio worth billions Qatari riyals.
Totonji build his expanded experience and investment in the
United States for six years. He holds Master’s degree in real estate
funding from George Town University and Bachelor degree in business
management from George Washington University.
The bank’s
Board of Directors has welcomed Totonji’s appointment as Acting CEO in
the context of bank’s the vision to achieve best revenues to the
shareholders. The Board further commended the new acting CEO and
expressed its confidence in his ability to lead and achieve remarkable
results soon.
Following
his appointment, Mr. Totonji said, “I thank the Board of Directors for
the confidence he has put in me and I will closely work with the Board
and the senior management to implement the Board’s strategy that goes in
line with the shareholders’ benefits. I will also strive to further put
the bank on the profitability path so as to achieve greater returns to
shareholders”.
