Industries Qatar Co Net Profit Falls 67% to QAR 485.2 Million in 1st Half 2020

Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat) announced that it has assumed the management and the full technical operations of the LNG tanker ‘Al-Samriya’, ‘Q-Max’ type, from Shell International Trade and Shipping Company ‘Shell’. The process, started today, 27 July 2020, is considered part of the second phase of transforming the technical and operational management of carrier vessels to be managed domestically.
Al-Samriya is considered the third tanker vessel included in the second phase of transforming the technical and operational management of ships from Shell to Qatar Gas Transport Company Ltd this year. With Al Samriya, the total number of ships domestically managed by ‘Nakilat’ to 23, consisting of 19 Liquefied Natural Gas ‘LNB’ carriers and 4 Liquefied Petroleum Gas ‘LPG’ carriers.
