Barwa Real Estate Group announced that it has signed a contract with Ashghal Qatar to develop and maintain eight (8) schools across the country for a period of 25 years. Upon the completion of the construction, the schools will be directly leased to the respective governmental entities, which in return will secure guaranteed rentals to Barwa Real Estate Group and contribute in achieving a sustainable growth to the Barwa Group and further appreciation to the shareholders’ equity.
It is worth noting that this is the first of its kind partnership between the governmental and private sector in Education field. Furthermore, entrusting Barwa Real Estate with a project of such national importance will enhance Barwa’s position as a major real estate partner for the government of the State of Qatar.
