The Board of Directors of Barwa Real Estate Group decided to appoint Mr. Abdullah bin Jabara Al-Rumaihi as CEO of the group.
Al-Rumaihi is one of the prominent Qatari competencies who worked to serve the group and achieve its goals and values, and his confirmation reflects the extent of his loyalty to the group and his commitment to its principles after he held several administrative positions in various positions during his work journey, the most recent of which was his assumption of the position of acting CEO of the group since last April.
Mr. Al-Rumaihi also held the position of CEO of Waseef Company and also worked as director of the internal audit department in addition to his main role in establishing many of the Group's subsidiaries.
During his tenure as acting in the past months, the group witnessed great growth and achieved significant gains and achievements by signing many contracts, most notably The Qatar Schools Development Program, through a public-private partnership system - Package 1 proposed by “Ashghal”to develop eight public schools across Qatar for the benefit of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in addition to launching construction works for the two projects “Madinatuna”, a residential city for families And "Baraha Al-Janoub" is a residential city for the working class.
On this occasion, and commenting on his appointment, the Group CEO said: “It is a great honor for me to give this opportunity to contribute to the success of our group through my new duties, and we will continue our work to enhance the group’s position as a developer of the largest strategic real estate projects in the country, in a way that establishes the principle of partnership. The strategy of the group is with the government through building new real estate projects capable of meeting market needs.
He added: “I am certain that all employees of the group will remain obsessed with hard work and exerting all the efforts required to achieve our ambitions and ensure continued success in our operations and the continuation of Barwa Real Estate's strategy in the optimal employment of its investments.”
