Ooredoo announced the signing of an exclusive, non-legally binding memorandum of understanding with CK Hutchison Holdings on a potential partnership process for their two telecom operators in Indonesia, PT Indosat Tbk and PT Hutchison 3 Indonesia. The exclusivity of the MOU will last until 30 April 2021.
Ooredoo said the evaluation process for this transaction is still at an early stage.
Ooredoo is keen to review its strategic priorities and its market position in all countries in which it is present and the contribution of each company in the group, which is an essential part of its strategy.
Ooredoo wishes to confirm that there is no binding agreement regarding the potential participation process as of the date of this announcement. The company will announce any developments in due course.
