The Gulf Takaful Insurance Company announced that its General Assembly held yesterday, Sunday 28/03/2021, approved the amendment of the settlement that it had previously made with the former CEO of the company, regarding some investment files, with the company acquiring a plot of land in the city of Doha with a value of forty million Qatari riyals, in addition to a previously collected amount of 30 million riyals, and with the follow-up of what can be collected from the relevant cases and files. The General Assembly has authorized the Board of Directors to conduct that follo-up. As a result, an amount of QR 76 million is considered as a provision for debts that have not been collected and recorded in the accounting records for the year 2020.
