Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) launches share trading service through a mobile application in cooperation with the Group Securities

Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB), the largest Islamic bank in Qatar, has announced enabling customers to link the Group’s trading account with their bank account through the bank’s mobile application to benefit from the new-designed stock trading platform from “The Group”, as part of the bank’s efforts to give its customers the ability to get full control of their banking, financial and investment needs from one place.
The new initiative was launched in cooperation with the Group Securities Company (The Group), the leading company in Qatar in terms of trading shares that comply with the provisions of Islamic Sharia, and licensed by the Qatar Financial Markets Authority. The new service allows the bank's customers to link their bank accounts with their accounts in "The Group", and thus be able to trade all shares listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange through the bank's mobile application.
This service allows customers to trade immediately by buying and selling all shares listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange, transferring funds to and from their accounts, as well as the ability to view their portfolio, financial evaluation, and value of shares, in addition to viewing their account information through a single platform via the bank’s mobile application. The new service also provides a single login for each client's bank and group account to be able to trade shares directly through the Group's trading platform.
The trading platform, with its new design and updated experience, has been customized exclusively for the bank's mobile app users, as it gives customers an easy, fast and new trading experience with additional features and services.

The new service is available to bank customers who have an active account with the Group. Where the bank’s customers can benefit from this service by logging into the bank’s mobile application, then choosing the “Tadawul” service from the “My Accounts” page, and then choosing “Group”. In order to link the client’s bank account and group account, only the client’s investor number should be entered, then confirm the validity of personal information, and choose the bank account to be linked with the group account for trading operations.
QIB recently announced the launch of a completely new version of the award-winning QIB mobile application. The new application provides a clearer, easier and more interactive user experience, where all operations are carried out in a simple steps system, with easy navigation to enable the user to access all digital bank services in short ways.
The bank's new mobile application comes with an easy-to-use design in Arabic and English, and includes options for smart entry using fingerprint or face recognition, self-registration, and smart shortcuts, as well as multiple browsing capabilities that allow the customer to access services and products clearly and easily. The user can also get help at any time and on any screen of the application quickly and easily. Through the new application, it has become possible to perform all operations and money transfers in a few steps, and customers will benefit from the advantages of advanced and secure data systems so that they do not need to re-enter information or previously recorded data.
The bank’s mobile application can be downloaded through “App Store”, “Google Play” and “Huawei App Gallery”. Customers can also easily register in the application by entering their debit card number and password. The bank application provides customers with the ability to fully control their accounts, cards and transactions and fulfill all their banking needs remotely. The bank's customers can also apply for opening an account for the first time, obtaining personal financing, a credit card, or opening additional accounts within 5 minutes only through the bank's mobile application.
