Oil prices drop more than 7% after the “OPEC +” agreement, bringing Brent crude to $68.62 a barrel

Oil prices fell sharply when settling Monday's trading after the OPEC + group overcame internal disagreements and approved to increase production, which raises concerns about an oversupply of crude while infections with Covid-19 increase around the world.
The global benchmark Brent crude contracts fell 6.7%, or $4.97, to $68.62 a barrel after settlement.
US crude contracts fell 7.5%, or $5.39, to record $66.42 a barrel.
