Ooredoo Q.P.S.C. (“Ooredoo”), its stock market symbol ORDS, has announced the appointment of Mr. Ahmed Al Naama as Regional Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Bilal Kazemi as Group Chief Commercial Officer, effective January 1, 2022.
Mr. Ahmed Al Neama has been with Ooredoo since 2004, during which he held several positions, the last of which was the position of CEO of Indosat Ooredoo. Prior to that, he held the position of Group Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Ahmed has extensive experience spanning more than 17 years, during which he held several leadership roles within the company.
As for Mr. Bilal Kazemi, he has served as the Group’s Acting Chief Commercial Officer since July 2021, and has a career full of experiences and expertise that spans more than 25 years. During his career, Mr. Bilal has held several international leadership roles in the field of communications, including sales and distribution, customer service, new product development, international business, and digital transformation.
