Milaha's Board of Directors approves the resignation of the Group Chairman and CEO, Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Mannai

Qatar Navigation Company (Milaha) announced that it has accepted the resignation of the Chairman and CEO of the company, Mr. Abdulrahman Issa Al-Mannai, in order to devote himself to other responsibilities. Milaha Group stated that the board of directors approved the resignation of the group's president and CEO. The Board of Directors decided to assign Mr. Muhammad Abdullah Sweidan - Executive Vice President for Platform Support and Offshore Services to carry out the duties of the company's acting president and CEO.
Mr. Sweidan has nearly twenty years of experience in the maritime transport sector. He holds an MBA "Maritime Management" from the University of Greenwich - London, in addition to a senior marine engineer certificate.
His Excellency Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad bin Jassim Jabor Al Thani, Chairman of Milaha’s Board of Directors, said: “Mr. Al-Mannai has had a key role in completing the company’s building process in accordance with the strategic plan set by the Board of Directors, and his role has had a prominent impact in creating a successful business model and sustainable development that will contribute to the group’s future growth and development.”
The Board of Directors expressed its thanks to Mr. Abdul Rahman Issa Al Mannai for his services and constructive contributions throughout his tenure of service, which extended for nearly seven years in the leadership of the company, wishing him success.
On his part, Mr. Al-Mannai expressed his appreciation to the Board of Directors and Milaha employees for their full support throughout his years of work.
