Qatar Central Bank announced the implementation of the following, as of Thursday, June 16, 2022:
Raise of the deposit rate (QCBDR) by 75 basis points to 2.25%
Raise of the lending interest rate (QCBLR) by 50 basis points to 3.25%
Raising the QCB Repo Rate by 75 basis points to 2.50%
This decision comes within the framework of the monetary policy objectives in the State of Qatar and based on the decision of the Monetary Policy Committee, and in accordance with the assessment of local and international economic data and developments, and in order to achieve the priorities of the monetary policy objectives of the Qatar Central Bank.
