Investment Holding Company Q.P.S.C. and PepsiCo Qatar announced the signing of a new agreement that resulted in the designation of PepsiCo as the official beverage partner for the Lusail Winter Wonderland, a theme park developed by Estithmar Ventures, a subsidiary of Estithmar Holding, and operated by IMG - owner of the rights to operate Hyde Park and Winter Wonderland.
Lusail Winter Wonderland, on Al Maha Island, extends over an area of 1,000,000 square meters. The project includes a diverse list of entertainment games that have been developed to suit all age groups and family members and bear the names of the most prominent local brands: “Ooredoo 5G Rollercoaster, a giant 150-foot Ferris wheel named” Ain QNB, Al Rayyan Skating Rink, the first outdoor ice skating rink in the name of Masraf Al Rayan, “View Doha Bank”, as well as other entertainment stations such as the Ice Slope, “Arctic Splash”, “Snow Rockets”, “Octo-Jet”, and others.
Oryx Island represents the most important tourist destination in Qatar, and Lusail Winter Wonderland has become one of the most attractive areas for visitors and residents. The world-class theme park is set to be an important entertainment destination that contributes significantly to the tourism and leisure experience in Qatar. Adding Pepsi as one of the sponsors enhances the visitor experience and ensures that a range of Pepsi products are available throughout the park for visitors to enjoy during their visit.
