QIB net profit in 2022 rises 12.7% to 4 billion riyals, and it recommends distributing cash dividends of 62.5% of the nominal value of the share


Qatar Islamic Bank (Al Masraf) announced the financial results for the year ending on December 31, 2022, as it achieved net profits attributable to shareholders’ equity of 4,005 million Qatari riyals for the fiscal year 2022, compared to 3,555 million Qatari riyals for the year 2021, an increase of 12.7%. The basic earnings per share amounted to 1.62 Qatari riyals, compared to 1.42 Qatari riyals as of December 31, 2021.
The Board of Directors of the bank has proposed distributing 0.625 riyals per share (62.5% of the nominal value of the share) as cash dividends to shareholders, after its approval by the Qatar Central Bank and the general assembly of the bank's shareholders.
