Qatar National Cement Company announced the results of the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting held on 02/26/2023, where the following was approved:
1) Approving the amendment to the second paragraph of Article (9) of the Articles of Association, as follows: “Non-Qatari investors may own 100% of the company’s capital, in accordance with the provisions of the law regulating the investment of non-Qatari capital in economic activity.”

The meeting also decided to authorize the Chairman of the Board of Directors to address the competent authorities in the country to approve the amendment, approve the amended Articles of Association, document them and publish them in the Official Gazette.
