The Commercial Bank announced the invitation of the Extraordinary General Assembly to convene on 06/14/2023, in the Commercial Bank Plaza Tower, Al Markhiya Street - Al Dafna District, and via the ZOOM application at 06:30 in the evening. In the event that the quorum is not complete, the alternative meeting will be held on 06/18/2023, in the Commercial Bank Plaza Tower, Al Markhiya Street - Al Dafna area, and via the ZOOM application, at 06:30 pm.
Agenda of the Extraordinary General Assembly
1) Approving the amendment of Article (20) of the Company’s Articles of Association to comply with the amendments to the governance instructions in banks issued by the Qatar Central Bank under Circular No. 2 of 2023 regarding the number of members of the Board of Directors to become as follows: “The company is managed by a board of directors consisting of one Ten members elected by the General Assembly by secret ballot.
2) Authorizing the Chairman of the Board of Directors and/or the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors or any other person authorized by the Chairman of the Board of Directors from among the members of the Board of Directors or the senior executive management, each separately, to take the required actions in relation to the mentioned amendments to the Articles of Association, including signing the amended Articles of Association. In front of the competent official authorities, including the Documentation Department at the Qatari Ministry of Justice, pending obtaining all necessary approvals from the competent regulatory authorities.
